The QT Technologies team had an incredible time at the 5th Annual Fuel Summit hosted by Southwest Airlines! A heartfelt thank you to SWA’s Fuel Supply & Management team for organizing such a wonderful event at their headquarters and for bringing together so many key players in the fueling community to discuss important and innovative initiatives ahead for our industry.

The Summit kicked off with a fun golf outing and welcome dinner, followed by an engaging conference on campus where we enjoyed connecting with SWA team members, ITP providers, and fellow vendors in the Fuel Operations sector. As a Platinum Sponsor, QT was proud to showcase our Electronic Fuel Ticketing system at SWA’s Vendor Expo, contributing to the exciting discussions around digitalization.

The conference featured insightful presentations covering important topics such as the fuel market outlook, filtration, and Southwest’s ambitious goals for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. It was inspiring to see the airline’s dedication to innovation and sustainability, particularly their commitment and investment in sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), as well as their leadership in fostering collaboration among all stakeholders in the industry.

Another highlight of the event was the guided tour of Southwest’s Flight Simulators at their LEAD Center. We were inspired to learn about their training program and the company’s rich history and culture, including the tradition of every graduating pilot class donating $737 to the charity of their choice upon training completion.

This year’s Summit came at an exciting time as QT prepares to help Southwest realize its vision of modernizing fuel ticketing through digitalization and automation. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Southwest Airlines and their commitment to building a more eco-efficient future for aviation. We look forward to the journey ahead!
