Phil has been a strategic advisor to QT since 2022, providing guidance on corporate growth, business development, and international expansion opportunities. In his new role, Phil will lead QT’s corporate strategy and services functions, helping shape the company’s long-term vision and support its continued evolution as a global leader in aviation fueling technology.
Phil brings more than 30 years of experience in aviation services and corporate leadership. Prior to joining QT, he spent 27 years with the John Menzies Group, where he was a founding member of the Menzies Aviation leadership team. During his tenure, Phil played a pivotal role in transforming Menzies into a global market leader through a series of strategic initiatives including high-impact acquisitions and commercial developments, and was instrumental in driving the expansion of its Americas region including the transformative acquisition and integration of the global aviation fueling business, ASIG.
An expert in building and integrating businesses, Phil has in recent years been advising aviation industry investors on acquisition and transformation opportunities. Phil began his career with KPMG and Burness Paull, one of Scotland’s leading corporate law firms. Over the years, he has also served as a speaker and contributors to numerous IATA Ground Handling and industry leadership publications and events.
