QT Technologies Adds Marketing Executive
Expertise in Developing Market Strategy Supports Growing Productivity Services Provider
Dallas, TX - November 5, 2007 - QT Technologies, an innovator across the petroleum industry, announced the addition of an experienced marketing executive to the company’s executive team today. Gail A. Moser was named Vice President of Marketing, bringing a varied background of skills and knowledge to the ranks of the QT staff.
"Gail has over 25 years of experience and brings an outstanding level of expertise in technology, marketing, sales and service," said Jerry Portocalis, President of QT Technologies. "Her prior success in these areas will further propel our current and ongoing growth plans."
Most recently, Moser served as VP, Marketing for BillMatrix Corporation, a provider of electronic transaction services to the utility, consumer finance, telecommunications and insurance industry. Responsible for all marketing and business development activities at BillMatrix, she is an accomplished speaker, author of numerous articles in national trade publications, and a strong leader of product marketing programs.
Starting with a career in designing and building petroleum and chemical plants worldwide, she moved into developing control software for such facilities. Based on complex mathematical modeling tools including matrix manipulation and neural networks, Moser used her skill at explaining the practical and business aspects of these solutions into sales support and marketing positions. From that experience base, she was rapidly promoted to executive management of international sales and marketing teams at Pavilion Technologies, an enterprise performance management software and services firm providing solutions to the energy, financial services and manufacturing industries.
In past positions, Moser led marketing, sales and engineering teams at Aspen Technology, Raytheon Engineers & Constructors and KBR, a subsidiary of Halliburton.
She holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
