QT Technologies Launches New High Visibility Fueling Display at NBAA
Designed to Meet States’ Requirements for More Information When Fueling
Dallas, TX--October 6, 2008--QT Technologies, an innovator across the petroleum industry, today will be showcasing its new MultiDisplay™ at the NBAA 61st Annual Meeting and Convention in Orlando, Florida. This new high visibility, multi-line display was specifically designed to meet the emerging requirement for the person fueling an airplane to be able to see the total amount, the total dollar value and the price of the fuel from a distance. The weights and measures regulators in several states are adding this requirement to the certification of self-service terminals and QT has responded to this quickly broadening need.

QT Technologies' MultiDisplay™
“Our participation in the industry associations and close client contact enables us to be very responsive to change,” said Jerry Portocalis, President and CEO of QT Technologies. “We coordinated with our clients and distributors to confirm the requirements for each state. Our development team was then able to turn around this product in just a couple of weeks. We are now starting to install this new display at a large number of our client sites.”
QT Technologies has a 25 year history in serving the aviation market with self-service fuel terminals installed at over 1000 locations worldwide. That presence has been extended with the mobile fueling services, which leverage advances in computer and communications technology to improve the productivity of both physical and personnel assets for aviation refuelers of all sizes. In-cab terminals communicating with the QT Data Center over the cellular networks manage all aspects of delivery – real-time inventory control and management, payment processing, electronic signature capture and mis-fueling prevention technology. Back office integration with a client’s existing systems completes the productivity enhancement cycle.
The QT Technologies fixed fuel terminals offer highly reliable, 24-hour self-service capabilities with fully integrated on-site fuel management software. The terminals take all types of plastic payments including retail credit and debit cards, fuel cards, and private cards.
The convention runs through October 8, with the QT services featured on the tradeshow floor:
@ Booth #1230 attendees can get a hands-on demonstration of the driver and back office productivity enhancements using the mobile resource service. This QT Technologies booth will have a fixed fuel terminal in action along with the new high visibility display.
QT will have knowledgeable personnel available to answer questions and provide more information on the service and the fixed fuel terminals that will enhance the productivity of any aviation refueling company.
