QT Technologies Displays Features of In-Cab and In-Office Productivity Improvement at NPGA Event

Dallas, TX - April 14, 2007 - QT Technologies, an innovator across the petroleum industry, is introducing its new QT Productivity EngineTM, in two booths (# 830 and #1024) at the 2007 NPGA International Expo and Southeastern Convention in Atlanta, Georgia today. QT's Productivity Engine combines functionalities to ensure that economically optimized workflows are executed in petroleum product delivery and payment processes.

The service utilizes an in-cab or handheld unit with a simple to use, touch-screen interface that manages all aspects of delivery - optimized schedules, GPS-based route mapping, product management and payment processing. The "single-touch delivery" operation allows the driver to complete each stop very efficiently. Payment can be made by the customer on-site with credit or debit cards, cash, or checks.

QT's industry partners are providing event attendees with access to live demonstrations of the Mobile Data Terminal at the NPGA event. Liquid Controls, known for intelligent metering, will also have a QT terminal in their booth (#1024) to demonstrate both the driver and back office productivity enhancements available to their customers. Gas Equipment Company (GEC) will have a terminal in their exhibit space (Booth #830) for members of the propane industry to see the equipment and participate in a live demonstration.

The true innovation with the QT Productivity Engine is its operation from the QT Data Center. The Data Center, using cellular and satellite networks, communicates in real-time with each in-cab or handheld Mobile Terminal. The information transmitted includes schedule/route updates, on-board volumetric product inventory and detailed customer profiles which contain correct pricing and applicable taxes. With these automatic updates to the unit, the driver simply moves through the schedule in the order presented to execute an economically optimum route. The real-time connectivity also allows the unit to serve as a point-of-sale device, validating transactions with the payment processors and exercising the strong QT fraud prevention methodologies.

Completing the productivity cycle for mobile petroleum business processes, details on each delivery are communicated upon completion via the Productivity Engine to a back office accounting and/or inventory management system. No changes are required to the client's existing systems since adapters are provided to the leading products. Additional on-line tools for back office personnel such as automated fleet routing, truck tracking, inventory and delivery reporting are also part of the QT service.

To address consumer demand for Internet-based interaction, QT can also provide clients with a branded consumer web portal that allows on-line ordering, scheduling, payment processing and reviews of usage history.

The 58th annual NPGA trade exposition, known for many years simply as the Southeastern Convention, is the largest tradeshow for propane products, equipment and services. The event is targeted for both small businesses and large corporations engaged in any segment of the propane industry. QT's innovation for this industry can be seen by attendees at live demonstration of the productivity enhancement solutions in the Liquid Controls booth #1024 and at the GEC booth #830.
