QT Technologies Unveils Real-Time In-Cab Productivity Improvement Product

Dallas, TX – January 10, 2007 – QT Technologies, an innovator across the mobile resources industry, is demonstrating its newest service, the QT Mobile Data Terminal, in Booth #S3 at the 2007 Pumper and Cleaner Environmental Expo International in Nashville, Tennessee on February 8-10. QT's Mobile Data Terminal, powered by the company's Productivity Engine™, combines functionalities to ensure that economically optimized workflows are executed in the custody transfer and payment processes. This leads to more efficient asset utilization and increased cash flow.

The Mobile Data Terminal is a robust in-cab unit with a simple to use, touch-screen interface that manages all aspects of custody transfer – schedule, route mapping, product management and payment processing. The “single-click transfer” operation allows the driver to complete each stop quickly and efficiently. Payment can be made by the customer on-site with cash, credit cards, debit cards or checks.

The QT Productivity Engine operates from the QT Data Center, using cellular and satellite networks to communicate in real-time with each Mobile Data Terminal. The information transmitted includes schedule/route updates, and detailed customer profiles which contain up-to-the second product pricing and applicable taxes. With these automatic updates to the in-cab unit, the driver simply moves through the schedule in the order presented to execute an economically optimum route. The real-time connectivity also allows the unit to serve as a point-of-sale device, validating transactions with payment processors and exercising the industry leading QT fraud prevention methodologies.

Completing the productivity cycle for mobile business processes, details on each field service activity is communicated to the client's back office management system via the Productivity Engine. This fully integrated system requires no manual entry of service activity, revenue accounting or customer activity tracking. No changes are required to current implementations in the client's systems as adapters are provided to the leading products. Additional on-line tools for back office personnel include fleet management, GPS-based real-time mobile asset tracking, and activity reporting are also part of the Productivity Engine.

To address consumer demand for Internet-based interaction, QT can also provide clients with a branded consumer web portal that allows on-line ordering, scheduling, payment processing and reviews of usage history. The QT hosted web portals are fully integrated with the customer's existing back office systems to provide a secure, seamless and full-featured consumer experience.

The Pumper Show is a leading industry event bringing truck experts together in both an exhibit hall and educational training sessions. Attendees can see a live demo of QT Technologies productivity enhancement solutions in Booth #S3.
